The following is a reading I received in 2001 from the "Angel's Oracle". Their philosophy was primarily based on the Seth material. I later had a session with Elias and he told me that Montiga and Carmen, who are mentioned in this reading, were other focuses of my essence.

"First I am seeing an older woman. Her skin is dark brown, and her face is lined with deep wrinkles. Each wrinkle represents a time in her many lives, that she overcame something. She has small hands, but a huge heart. Of course, she can change her appearance, however she is comfortable with this one. She feels good about representing herself to you this way. She is one, who is very knowledgeable and very in tune with Mother earth, and she is still very much a part of the Native American traditions, showing me her native dress. She has on a leather outfit. It is soft almost cream colored. She is holding a walking stick, engraved, carved really with symbols, each one representing something. She is pointing to the symbol of motherhood. She is saying this is of much importance, and she is showing me a symbol of light, and a symbol that stands for Turtle. Turtle in many Native American cultures stands for Mother Earth, and the turtles connection to it, as well as our own.

She is reminding me to tell you, that it is quite important that you develop your ideas, before bringing them to light. You need to think things through to the end before getting ahead of yourself. She is telling me that now is the time for you to feel your connection to All That Is. The earth and all of its elements, the air, water and fire. It is when you feel truly connected that you will reach your stride in life. That you will feel as if you are breathing for the first time. She is informing me that you are being called to use your own intuition on a more constant basis, and to also share those feelings and thoughts with others. This will come in time, that you actually will meet others that feel the same way about things in general as you do. [I was drawn to the Elias Forum about a year later :)]

You are very in tune with other's feelings Ioanna; it is amazing what she is showing me. You have the ability, as I believe you know, to do what I am doing here. You connect with this woman on a daily basis, although you may not know her name. She is slow to even tell me her name, she is now sounding it out for me, she has many names, all her own. She comes to you, wearing many different hats she says. Sometimes, she is very motherly and others very demanding. She is telling me that there is stress in your life that you can get past if you just think things out, and let your thoughts progress from beginning to end. Her name is Montiga, I believe. It sounds pretty close to that. She has such wonderful energy she is very strong, like you. That warrior spirit. The fight for the underdog and come out on top, one way or another, you are determined to.

She is also now introducing me to a very bright and lovely being of light. She is absolutely fantastic. She is a glow with energy and love. Her name is Carmen. Which is actually quite funny! The last few days, I have been hearing the name Carmen, which is not a usual name these days. I started wondering why; I actually heard the name several times, just today!! Now I know it is for you! She is an Angel, in every sense of the word. She is suspended in her own light, just floating there, smiling down on you. She has blonde hair, like the color of sun-drenched sand on a beach somewhere. Her eyes are beyond sparkle; they are more like glitter, a blue glitter.

She conveys nothing but love to you. She just wants you to know it is all-OK. That you are here on this earth for many reasons. She is saying that it is time in your life to look at the entire picture. That you are being asked to put your fear aside of the unknown and just go forward. You need to really listen to yourself, and listen to what others, DON'T SAY. This is important for you, it what they do not say, that is even more meaningful then what is said. Carmen wants you to know that her arms are always open wide for you. That she is here for you, day and night. She is always working for your best good on the other side.

She is telling me, that you are not taking advantage of all the opportunity that you could. You are passing something by, and that fear of the unknown is preventing your from becoming all that you can truly be. She is telling me, that sometimes you feel very alone, although surrounded by people. You feel this way because for one you feel a lot of emotion leaking from other people, and do not know what to do with these thoughts and feelings. You are very empathetic to others; you need to be aware that you are carrying with you other's garbage really. That when you walk past someone and suddenly feel things you had no intention of feeling that you can leave that with them. You do not need to take it with you. Think about this and just feel it shaking off of you. The scene she is showing me, is one of a wet dog! When they shake it all off! She has a sense of humor, on top of everything else.

Let things go do not drag around these feelings and things that no longer serve you. She wants you to consciously let go of ideas and thoughts that you no longer need; to kind of weed things out in a sense. Carmen is also very connected to all that "grows" and gives life. She is saying that your sense of color is also something that really connects you to life in general. I am not entirely sure what she means by this, but will leave it up to you. I see the colors of deep purple and blue and that it is good for you. Envision these colors as you breathe, just going through your lungs and filling every inch of you body. She is pulling her energy back now, but wants me to make sure to tell you HOW loved you truly are, and that your path is right, just keep going forward.
